El Instituto de Parasitolog\u00eda y Biomedicina \u201cL\u00f3pez-Neyra\u201d (IPBLN) perteneciente al Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cient\u00edficas (CSIC), est\u00e1 dedicado a la investigaci\u00f3n biom\u00e9dica. Las \u00e1reas de investigaci\u00f3n en curso abarcan tem\u00e1ticas diversas en el campo de la inmunolog\u00eda, biolog\u00eda molecular, biolog\u00eda celular y farmacolog\u00eda de enfermedades de importancia sanitaria mundial. Desde su fundaci\u00f3n como el Instituto Nacional de Parasitolog\u00eda, el IPBLN ha evolucionado hacia un Instituto de investigaci\u00f3n de contenido m\u00e1s amplio, actualmente constituye un centro moderno, bien equipado, y comprometido con el abordaje de cuestiones de inter\u00e9s biom\u00e9dico de car\u00e1cter tanto b\u00e1sico como aplicado. El IPBLN-CSIC cuenta con una plantilla en continuo crecimiento y una capacidad creciente de captaci\u00f3n de recursos y producci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica. Est\u00e1 estructurado en tres Departamentos: Biolog\u00eda Celular e Inmunolog\u00eda, Biolog\u00eda Molecular, y Bioqu\u00edmica y Farmacolog\u00eda Molecular. Actualmente se encuentra ubicado en el Parque Tecnol\u00f3gico de Ciencias de la Salud de Granada (PTS;\u00a0www.ptsgranada.com<\/a>); un espacio \u00fanico que proporciona el entorno apropiado para facilitar la interacci\u00f3n entre distintas instituciones y empresas con intereses en el sector biosanitario, desde la investigaci\u00f3n b\u00e1sica a la cl\u00ednica, de la docencia a la transferencia del conocimiento al sector econ\u00f3mico y social. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
